Job Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for growing and scaling revenue for an assigned portfolio of existing Pro account relationships. This involves utilizing reporting and customer satisfaction results to discover incremental Pro sales growth opportunities within an assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%): Participate in district/regional meetings, represent The Home Depot Pro at local community events, and communicate weekly activities with the Pro Sales Manager.
Customer Relationship Management (10%): Utilize Salesforce to plan sales call activity, manage customer communications, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Existing Sales Relationships (80%): Sell products and services, review customer satisfaction results, partner with the Pro Account Expeditor, and maintain strong working partnerships with your portfolio to drive profitability and long-term success.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of work experience, with preferred experience in account management, sales management, or the home improvement industry.
High school diploma or equivalent required, with preferred computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to navigate data and leverage reporting to make decisions.
