They are seeking an SAP IT Customer and AMI Technologies Intern to support their enterprise and Smart Grid applications, focusing on tasks such as business requirements review, analysis, solution design, and testing. Responsibilities Business requirements review Analysis Solution design System configuration Testing Solution deployment Post-production support Skills Registration as a full-time student (minimum of 12 units) at an accredited college or university in a declared curriculum with a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) emphasis that will provide the specific skills and knowledge that will contribute to available work assignments Students must be enrolled as a full-time student, complete and pass at least 12 undergraduate units OR 8 graduate units, and receive at least a 2.0 GPA in the Spring Semester/Quarter of 2026 Students must be graduating in Summer 2026 or later Students must be able to commute to the SMUD Offices in Sacramento, CA when requested to come in Currently, SMUD is not hiring candidates for its student internship positions who require sponsorship from an employer either now or in the future College Status: Junior or Senior Coursework in SAP related courses, and Enterprise Systems SAP experience (application configuration and testing) Database design Software/system design Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Community Service/Volunteer experience Good communication skills Ability to work individually and in a team Self-motivated Open to feedback Company Overview SMUD provides electricity to Sacramento County, California.
