Job DetailsDescriptionWhat you'll do:Edit video footage using your preferred software with proficiency and creativity, while maintaining the RV Nerd consistency, branding, and messagingUtilize overlays, layers, and transitions to enhance visual appeal and storytellingEnsure precise timing and sequencing of video elements for maximum impactManipulate sound elements, including detaching audio from external recordings and enhancing indoor audio qualityTrim excess air space at the end of each clip to maintain smooth transitionsIntegrate subscribe call-to-action overlays strategically throughout the videoIncorporate B-roll footage seamlessly into the main video content to enhance narrative flowCollaborate closely with Josh and the marketing team to conceptualize and execute video projects that meet RV Nerd objectives and brand standardsMaintain organized project files and adhere to project timelines and deadlinesStay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques... and softwareAssist as needed as an operator or engineer at live events and showsOccasionally assist the marketing team with non-Nerd related projectsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your workProficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut ProExperience with Adobe After Effects or Motion is preferredKnowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plusExperience with YouTube video subscribe call-to-action overlaysStrong understanding of storyboarding, scripting, and concept developmentExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues in audio and videoProven ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a focus on developing the best video contentAbility to learn new skills and stay updated on ongoing learning opportunities for film techniquesAbility to handle criticism and collect feedback constructivelyGreat communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teamsWillingness to travel and be on site for live events or showsA strong desire to improve personal skills, learn every day, and embrace new technology as it developsNeat, clean, and professional appearanceAbility to pass a background check and drug testDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers and co-workersWho We AreBish’s RV is one of the largest family-owned RV dealers in the country.
