About the position
The Yoga Instructor at CorePower Yoga is responsible for delivering an extraordinary yoga experience to students. This role involves teaching classes, providing a welcoming environment, and supporting students' personal growth while embodying the core values of the studio. Instructors are expected to engage with the community, ensure safety, and maintain cleanliness standards in the studio.
Responsibilities
Ā Teach a minimum of two CorePower Yoga classes per week for a minimum of 4 hours in the studio.

Ā Educate students on alignment and offer modifications for postures as appropriate.

Ā Connect with students 30 minutes before and after class to support their personal growth and studio initiatives.

Ā Perform front desk duties including checking students in and processing transactions.
,
Ā Ensure cleanliness standards are met according to CPY Smart Health Protocols.
,
Ā Act as an ambassador for CPY initiatives and business streams.
Requirements
Ā Certificate of completion from a 200-hour yoga teacher training with additional continuing education for specific formats.

Ā Current CPR/AED certification required.
,
Ā High school diploma preferred.
,
Ā Excellent oral communication skills and professionalism.
,
Ā Proficiency in computer applications.
,
Ā Ability to lead students in physical activity for a maximum of 1.5 hours at a time.
,
Ā Ability to withstand exposure to heat of a maximum of 104 degrees for a minimum of 60 minutes in heated classes.
,
Ā Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
Ā Experience in teaching various yoga formats such as Yoga Sculpt or Fitness Training.
