To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Workers’ Compensation Administrator. The Workers’ Compensation Administrator will be responsible for assisting with all Workers’ Compensation functions, such as reporting, investigating, tracking, and compiling data. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. This position reports to the Manager, Employee Benefits. Essential Duties: Assist with all workers’ compensation functions including reporting, tracking, and compiling injury data Serve as the liaison with workers’ compensation vendors Address all team member questions regarding their workers’ compensation claim Work with managers to ensure the workers' compensation claim is initiated correctly Coordinate with scheduling employees out of work, light duty, and return to work Communicate each injury with station managers and run requested reports to inform higher level management of new claims Job Qualifications and Competencies: Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field One (1) year of experience working in an office environment Previous experience working in the airline industry, Workers' Compensation, or Safety Work Environment: Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment Some travel may be required Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position. Employment is contingent upon a valid driver’s license and clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age. Benefit package includes paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and family travel on the American Airlines network. Medical and dental available.
