The Workday Analyst II - Reporting & Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics that support strategic decision making across HR and the business. With limited supervision, this role partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders to translate data needs into scalable reporting solutions, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and enhance the organization’s overall reporting and analytics capabilities within Workday. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Remote, Plymouth MNWhat you will do:Serve as a strategic owner of the Workday reporting and analytics space by defining standards, best practices, reporting intake, and maintenance processes to support consistency, efficiency, and data integrityBuild, enhance, and maintain Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, BIRT, Discovery Boards, Dashboards) with a focus on developing scalable and reusable reporting solutions aligned with business requirementsSupport complex calculated fields, data source troubleshooting, and reporting security requirementsDevelop, enhance, and maintain Prism dashboards and Discovery Boards to deliver actionable insights to HR and business leadersMeet with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical reporting specificationsProvide actionable insights and analysis to HR and business leadersDeliver knowledge transfer, reporting guidance, and self-service enablementCollaborate with Workday Functional and Analyst teams to align reporting with configuration changes and needsIdentify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve efficiencyManage Workday release enhancements to ensure technical and functional requirements are tested and adopted in a timely mannerOther duties as assignedWhat’s in it for you:Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much moreThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestMinimum Qualifications:US Citizenship or valid green card4 Year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience7+ Years of Workday experience5+ Years in Workday Reporting and AnalyticsExperience building Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Calculated Fields)Experience with Workday Prism and Discovery BoardsStrong understanding of Workday data structures across HCM, Absence, Compensation, Talent, and/or PayrollAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearlyAbility to consult and collaborate with cross-functional partnersPreferred Qualifications:Project Management experienceDemonstrate knowledge of HR function & processesExperience with Workday BIRT reportingKnowledge of data governance, HR analytics, or business intelligence practicesWorkday Pro certification or equivalent experienceDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical pay rate for the position ranges from $90,000.00 - $148,800 + 10% annual bonus target in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position(s) fall.
