Work Support Specialist Program Manager
Location: Flexible work location within southern Maine
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate our Work Support Specialist team in southern Maine. As a key member of the Workforce Services leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the achievement of program goals and outcomes.
Job Summary:
Directly supervise a team of Work Support Specialists, including recruiting, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Responsible for coordinating and scheduling job coaching assignments across the assigned region.
Expand and maintain positive partnerships with the business community and program funders.
Implement innovative strategies to meet customer requests and enhance service quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in rehabilitation, business, communication, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
Proven experience in program management and supervision.
Strong understanding of disability services initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to use personal computer, to include; e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft Office software.
Reliable transportation with proof of current automobile insurance.
Valid driver’s license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record
Criminal background check that meets Agency standards
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years progressive management experience.
