Position Summary

We have an immediate opening for an Online Elementary Intervention Teacher. This Title I-funded position works collaboratively with our team to actively support struggling students.

To be successful, you┬ĺll need to be a student-focused, creative thinker, and initiative taker. We need a student-focused goal-setter who can take constructive feedback with a good attitude and without pushback. If you like working with others to develop a strategy to advance student performance and then implementing that strategy, we┬ĺre probably a good fit.

Job Duties
┬Ľ Implement quality research-based interventions that drive student growth;
┬Ľ Create and/or utilize individualized lesson plans that will drive academic performance;
┬Ľ Collaborate with administration and teachers to support struggling students;
┬Ľ Communicate with families regarding student progress;
┬Ľ Deliver online instruction to small groups;
┬Ľ Assess students in-person and online;
┬Ľ Collect and analyze data to drive instruction;
┬Ľ Document interventions and outcomes; and
┬Ľ All other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitie
┬Ľ Background in supporting struggling students;
┬Ľ Wide variety of instructional strategies used to support Tier II and Tier III Intervention students;
┬Ľ Ability to aggregate and analyze data to inform student instruction decisions;
┬Ľ Ability to collaboratively work in teams and with individuals;
┬Ľ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
┬Ľ Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
┬Ľ Strict attention to detail;
┬Ľ Achieve daily performance metrics; and
┬Ľ Advanced technology skills including basic troubleshooting, site navigation, and proficiency with spreadsheets.

Qualifications
┬Ľ Bachelor┬ĺs degree;
┬Ľ Valid Elementary Teaching License;
┬Ľ 3 years of classroom experience and/or interventionist experience; specifically teaching reading and math at the elementary level;
┬Ľ Strong background in technology
┬Ľ Ability to obtain teaching certification in Arizona, Colorado and Washington.
┬Ľ Ability to pass required background checks; and
┬Ľ Ability and willingness to travel to assigned testing locations and physically proctor student assessments. (Applies to Arizona and Colorado candidates only)
