Key Responsibilities

 * Order Processing: Review and process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions.
 * Inventory Management: Monitor and manage medication inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage of medications.
 * Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including maintaining accurate records and handling controlled substances in accordance with legal requirements.
 * Technical Support: Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to pharmacy software and equipment.
 * Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs.
 Required Skills and Qualifications
 * Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent state certification.
 * Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.
 * Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
 * Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
 * Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information with discretion.
 Experience
 * Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.
 * Experience with Remote Work: Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not required.
 Working Hours
 * Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings, as needed.
