Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and manage internal audit engagements related to asset management operations.
Evaluate internal controls, financial processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify potential risks, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Lead and mentor junior audit staff during audit assignments.
Collaborate with finance, compliance, and operations teams to improve processes.
Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Support external audits and regulatory examinations when required.
Stay updated with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in asset management and auditing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CIA, or ACCA are highly preferred.
Strong understanding of auditing standards and asset management processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of financial reporting and risk assessment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency in audit tools, Microsoft Excel, and financial systems.
Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or asset management.
At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role within audit teams.
Experience working with investment firms, financial institutions, or asset management companies is highly desirable.
Prior remote work experience is an advantage.
Working Hours
Full-time remote position.
Flexible working schedule with core collaboration hours.
Occasional extended hours may be required during audit cycles or project deadlines.
