Remote Full-time
CALLING ALL DEVELOPERS WITH WORDPRESS EXPERIENCE! WE’RE LOOKING FOR A MID-TO-SENIOR LEVEL DEVELOPER WHO LOVES DEBUGGING, CODING, AND WORKING WITH WORDPRESS WEBSITES. We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join our client’s growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves building beautiful, functional websites that make an impact. About the Client Our client is a purpose-driven creative agency that partners exclusively with not‑for‑profit and for‑purpose organisations across the globe. Since 2013, they’ve combined strategy and creativity across brand, campaign and web to move people, shape narratives, and drive transformational impact. They’re passionate about accelerating meaningful change—supporting organisations to tell stories that matter, build distinctive identities, and launch campaigns and websites that deliver results. What You’ll Be Doing • Custom WordPress Development: Build and maintain custom WordPress websites from Figma or design files using advanced HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP. • Front-End UI Implementation: Translate creative design concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive, and performant front-end interfaces. • Theme and Plugin Customisation: Modify themes and plugins to suit specific client needs using lightweight PHP logic and JavaScript enhancements. • Website Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Handle bug fixes, performance optimisations, and regular WordPress core/plugin updates. • Collaborative Project Execution: Work closely with the strategy and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences that align with project goals. • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, reusable, scalable code with attention to detail and commitment to QA, testing, and debugging. • Proactive Development Contribution: Contribute ideas to improve website performance, UX, and development workflow efficiency. • Task & Time Management: Operate within project timelines using tools like ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar, while maintaining clear and timely communication. What We’re Looking For • Strong proficiency in WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development. • Expertise in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP. • Experience working from design files (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and translating them into responsive websites. • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and SEO best practices. • Strong debugging skills and experience with version control (e.g. Git). • Ability to collaborate effectively with design, strategy, and content teams. • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once. Nice-to-Haves • Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms. • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue). Why You’ll Love Working Here • Join a values-led creative agency that works exclusively with not-for-profit and for-purpose organisations. • Be part of a passionate team delivering projects that make a real difference in the world. • Work on diverse and exciting projects across brand, campaign and web. • Collaborative, supportive work environment with a focus on quality and growth.
