Project Scope
Full‑Site Design: Create layouts for homepage, service pages, blog, contact, etc., ensuring smooth user flow and clear visual hierarchy.
Platform & Theme: Build in WordPress using the GeneratePress theme (block editor and/or GenerateBlocks).
Collaboration: Coordinate with our developer and project manager—proactive updates and clear communication are essential.
What You’ll Do
Translate our brand guide into a cohesive, polished web design (fonts, colors, spacing, logos).
Design mobile‑first, responsive layouts that look and perform flawlessly on all devices.
Incorporate basic on‑page SEO best practices (heading structures, alt tags, semantic HTML).
Optimize for performance (image compression, minimal plugin use, caching/CDN setup).
Apply minor custom CSS/JS/PHP tweaks as needed, and clearly articulate more advanced requirements to developers.
Conduct thorough QA across browsers and breakpoints, catching issues before hand‑off.
Welcome feedback and iterate quickly to refine design to perfection.
(Nice to Have) Design elements that drive conversions—CTAs, lead‑magnet placements, sign‑up journeys.
✅ Must‑Have Qualifications
WordPress & GeneratePress Expertise: Proven track record building sites with GeneratePress and/or GenerateBlocks.
Full‑Site Design Portfolio: Samples of end‑to‑end websites showcasing strong visual hierarchy and UX.
Brand Guide Mastery: Rigorously adheres to typography, color palettes, spacing, imagery.
Responsive Design Savvy: Mobile functionality baked in from Day 1.
Self‑Sufficient & Reliable: Meets deadlines, solves problems independently, minimal oversight required.
Clear Communicator: Asks clarifying questions, provides regular status updates.
Performance Focused: Knows how to keep pages lean and load fast.
Nice‑to‑Have
