This is a part-time role with the potential to expand into full-time.Who We're Looking ForOur ideal candidate is someone who:Has 3+ years of experience in media relations and/or journalismBrings a strong network of media contacts across both B2B and B2C outletsCan demonstrate success in securing high-impact media placementsKnows how to craft compelling pitches, press releases and media materialsExcels at building and maintaining relationships with journalists and editorsIs highly organized, thrives under deadlines and can manage multiple client accountsHas a keen understanding of industry trends and knows how to identify timely angles for coverageEnjoys collaborating with internal teams and clients to shape and refine messagingTakes initiative, solves problems independently and brings sound judgment to fast-moving situationsPossesses native-level fluency in EnglishWhat You Will DoAs part of our team, you will:Develop and execute strategic media relations plans tailored to client goalsCraft and send pitches to top-tier B2B and B2C outlets to secure interview opportunitiesBuild and nurture long-term relationships with journalists, editors and other key stakeholdersStay on top of breaking news and emerging trends to uncover new opportunities for coverageRespond to media inquiries and coordinate press interviews and briefingsTrack and analyze media placements, creating reports that showcase resultsCollaborate closely with team members to ensure PR efforts align with broader communication strategiesWho We AreARTÉMIA Communications, Inc. is a women-owned, strategic consultancy based in San Francisco, with team members across the globe.
