Some students have not mastered basic skills and need a tutor to re-teach them. Students may have a specific learning disability which makes it challenging for them to master the information. These students will be the cutest and most adorable part of your day. Jamie The Tutor provides students with a multisensory approach to learning. We provide services for learners of all ages. We help families with learners in Pre-K through Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College-aged students. We offer programs that target specific needs; Jamie The Tutor specializes in providing structured literacy programs including Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, LMB, Wilson Fundations, Wilson Just Words, etc. The Details: Jamie The Tutor is looking to fill multiple tutoring roles. We at Jamie The Tutor are actively hiring for multiple tutoring roles including online teachers. In these roles you will deliver our program face to face, online, one on one with children of various educational levels. Our clients tend to be long term so you will have the opportunity to really connect with students and create a learning partnership. Experience in multisensory education techniques is a plus, and we provide training, support, customer service and more so you get to do what you love best: Teaching. Requirements: We are seeking energetic and organized individuals. Must have a passion for teaching children in ways that are unique and effective. Active Teaching Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree in Education or other related fields required. Prior experience working with children a must. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong Math and Reading aptitude. Commitment to making a difference in the community and belief in the importance of education. Preference will be given to those that with more than 5 years of experience. Ability to use Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom Meetings, and basic online time-tracking required.
