Job Overview The Entry Level Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing exchange buy and sell transactions, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and handling corporate activity events. Key Responsibilities Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, and identify and address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents. Handle corporate activity events, including settling and reconciling transfer activity, and processing and reconciling returns activity. Research complex and escalated issues, and perform testing and validation of new technology enhancements and service changes. Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor account. Communicate effectively with Retail and Institutional Business Teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce. Collaborate with TD Ameritrade Clearing and external business partners, including fund companies, transfer brokers, and contra parties. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Basic knowledge of financial markets, investments, and data entry principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and quality in work products. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data entry software and systems. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a strong self-motivation and discipline. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have: Previous experience in data entry, financial services, or a related field. Knowledge of TD Ameritrade systems and processes, or experience working with similar financial services platforms. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau. Certifications, such as a Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or a Certified Financial Services Professional (CFSP).
