Job Description
B-EZ Graphix, LLC. is seeking a skilled Website Designer to design and develop digital website content using the latest techniques and trends in web applications. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, design, and create mock-ups for specific client requests from small enhancements to entirely new website designs.
The candidate will also collaborate with our amazing family of team members to design functional and usable designs utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud of products on a PC or Mac, as well as other web applications and content management systems. A strong proficiency with major content management systems like Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, as well as natively developed systems throug HTML/CSS/PHP is preferred.
The candidate will be able to read and write project requirements, detailed design documents, wireframes and other project requirement documents. This is a part-time hourly and variable commission opportunity. Superior performing candidates may be eligible for a permanent full-time position as a Web Design Specialist.
The Web Designer is responsible for:
? Ensuring outstanding client service
? Setting project goals and driving performance to exceed goals
? Completion of all assigned web design projects, local marketing of skills and company services.
? Implementing company policies, processes and ensuring compliance
? Following company business model for associates on business development
? Being a knowledgeable resource on web design trends and emerging techniques
? Developing accurate and complete web design for clients, as assigned
? Reviewing and evaluating existing website designs to discover ways to improve them
? Taking project requirements and create new website design templates and website elements
? Utilize CMS to design, develop, optimize and maintain websites
? Limited copywriting and editing of website content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
? File Management including naming conventions, folder organization and file migrations
? Learning website hosting concepts and multi-server development environments
? Creating new and editing existing CSS files to achieve web page design goals
? Potential to work with some Flash and video elements
? Learning project and task management processes
? Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent, and meeting all continuing education requirements of the position.
Skills and Experience
? Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite
? Code of basic HTML/CSS by hand and/or with the use of Adobe Dreamweaver or other code editing applications
? Ability to translate conceptual ideas into compelling visual presentations
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Strong customer service skills to ensure an outstanding end-to-end client experience.
? Good decision-making skills and the ability to function well under stress while working in a fast-paced environment.
? Successful completion of the Design Training Course & Assessment, and having passed the examination with a grade of 80% or better.
? Experience with major content management systems including Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix.
? You must be motivated, driven, and passionate about design and technology.
? Passion for executing high quality design
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
? Maintain a student mentality to be willing to learn and be trained
? Schedule can be flexible, but you must be able to meet assigned deadlines.
? Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision.
? Demonstrated aptitude for business plan execution and desire to grow your book of business.
? Work with and understand basic JavaScript and related concepts of 3rd party component interactions
