Position Summary:

If you answered yes to the questions above, we would like to speak with you about being a Wealth Management Principal on our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Wealth Management Principal, you will serve our clients with a range of financial planning services, which require the following responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with Partners and colleagues to manage a client load of 75-80 clients
• Provide exceptional, responsive service, portfolio management, and advice to all clients
• Maintain a disciplined and organized approach to managing numerous client activities and tasks
• Manage and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
• Build strong, long-term client relationships. You will work with clients to analyze their current financial health, help set short/long-term financial goals, and design a realistic plan of action. You will proactively provide the following:
• Coordination of client meetings including materials, agenda, and post-meeting action item follow-up
• Answers to clients' questions with superior service front of mind, always
• Financial planning using e-Money
• Trade recommendations and portfolio management
• Achieve annually established goals to obtain client referrals, develop relationships with centers of influence, and develop new business in a rainmaking or closing role.
• Demonstrate professional, ethical, and courteous conduct in responsibilities and dealings with clients, prospects, COIs, colleagues, and other entities with which Cerity Partners has a relationship. This includes compliance with legal, professional and established firm standards of conduct.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 7-10 years of professional work experience ideally with 3+ years financial planning or related

Preferred Qualifications:
• CFP designation
• Working knowledge of e-Money, Salesforce, and Excel

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation Range:

$150,000-220,000
