Role and Responsibilities:
Ā Develop and implement personalized educational plans tailored to the unique needs of students in the K-12 spectrum, including those with diverse learning requirements.
Ā Collaborate closely with fellow educators and educational professionals to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
Ā Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote academic development across different grade levels.
Ā Maintain transparent and constructive communication with parents and guardians, delivering frequent updates on student performance.
Ā Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation of customized educational strategies.
Qualifications and Background:
Ā Possession of a valid Washington State License as a Special Education Teacher is a prerequisite.
Ā A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Ā Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, with the ability to cater to students in elementary, middle, and high school.
Ā Comprehensive knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Ā Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ā A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a student-centered approach.
