Warehouse Worker/Cover Driver
About the position
As a Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver at UPS, you will play a dual role that involves both warehouse operations and driving duties. In the warehouse capacity, you will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, ensuring that they are handled with care and efficiency. This role typically requires you to work between 3.5 to 5 hours each day, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, depending on operational needs. You will be expected to adhere to your assigned shift and maintain a high level of productivity while working in a fast-paced environment. When functioning as a Temporary Cover Driver, your responsibilities will expand to include driving UPS trucks to deliver packages to customers. This aspect of the job requires excellent customer contact and driving skills, as you will be the face of UPS to our clients. You will work 8 to 10 hours each day, also on a Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule. The role demands a commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations, including passing a DOT physical and maintaining a valid driver's license.
