Warehouse Worker /P&D Driver (Hybrid role)

They are seeking a Plant Operator /P&D Driver to manage waste processing and logistics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining operational efficiency. Responsibilities Receiving and processing of the various waste streams Scans waste into Route Optics for proper record keeping purposes Maintains the boiler and the autoclave functions to ensure maximum operating efficiency Ensures that all waste is properly processed and/or stored in compliance with all regulatory requirements Ensures an adequate supply of clean reusable bins and totes are readily available for logistics purposes Washes and ensures quality control of all reusable bins and totes Competently performs pre-trip and post-trips inspections with the intent of identifying and communicating minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor, and also completes daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile device Loads and unloads truck by placing and securing items in such a manner that prevents damage to the products and truck, regular lifting will be required Local and occasional out of town routes, may require some overnights as well Ensuring all materials are properly packaged, and orders are fully complete and in accordance with the packing slip prior to trip departure Driving: Deliver and collect products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route and serves customers by understanding, resolving and/or forwarding customer questions Diligently completes Daniels' commercial vehicle cleaning and disinfecting protocol on a daily basis Accurately records information on packing slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDG Regulations Complies with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures Ensures housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor, etc., are addressed immediately Performs additional duties and assists in other areas of the plant operation as directed by Operations Supervisor Skills Class 5 License with Air Brakes is a must Minimum of 12 months verifiable, related behind the wheel driving experience (within last 36 months) Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract (dated within last 30 days) Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, such as reference check, background check, pre-employment medical test and a driver's road test or equivalent Ability and knowledge to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure materials Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role Occasionally lifting, pushing pulling weights of sixty pounds or more Benefits Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave Job stability Opportunities for overtime Consistent work hours Safe work environment Company Overview MAKING HEALTHCARE SAFER The philosophy that guides Daniels - striving to make a safer environment for everyone involved in healthcare.
