Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Order Fulfillment Specialist at DHL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders while maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Warehouse Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Order Picking and Packing:Utilize picking lists or RF scanners to accurately pick orders from shelves or bins.Pack orders securely and neatly according to company standards and shipping guidelines.
Inventory Management:Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting and stock checks.Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors promptly.
Quality Control:Ensure all picked and packed orders meet quality standards and are free from damages or defects.Conduct visual inspections and follow quality assurance procedures as required.
Shipping and Receiving:Prepare shipments for courier pickups or delivery trucks.Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and report any discrepancies.
Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Follow company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and security.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in warehouse operations or order fulfillment preferred.
Ability to use RF scanners or other warehouse technology for order processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages as required.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced warehouse environment with regular exposure to moving machinery and loud noises.
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
