Warehouse Inventory Manager
Job Summary Oversees the inventory function for Samsung sites by updating records and maintaining control of materials and products. Maintains the control systems, avoiding excessive stocks and materials shortages. Job Responsibilities For Samsung facilities, manages the Inventory function: Ensures the accuracy of inventory counts. Acts a liaison to determine obsolete stock while optimizing inventory turnover. Ensures proper levels of stock via inventory control. Advises Neovia client management teams on initiatives to improve customer service, inventory performance and overall supply chain performance. Assists in managing existing client relationships. Meets client needs including enhancements to systems and/or Inventory Control. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a closely related field 5+ years’ relevant experience Preferred Advanced degree from an accredited University in a closely related field Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation 6 Sigma or other continuous improvement experience Physical Requirements Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds. Additional Info Knowledge of Inventory Control philosophies and systems Experience with multiple demand/inventory planning systems Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships Strong organization, delegation and project management skills
