The Role Cedar is improving the healthcare financial experience. Cedar is seeking a VP, People Partners to build and lead our team of People Partners as they consult, coach, and enable the Cedar team to reach its full potential. The VP, People Partners will be a key collaborator and advisor to Cedar’s senior leadership and executive leadership teams to scale the management and development of Cedar’s talent. This role will report to the Chief People Officer. The right candidate has a genuine passion for supporting and enabling talent, devising inclusive and equitable talent management and development strategies, and has deep expertise in effective business partnership that drives tangible business results. Responsibilities • Build and lead a team of dedicated People Partners and generalists. Manage a People Partner team that is a trusted strategic partner of the business. • Consult directly with Cedar’s leaders, including the Executive Leadership Team, as you advise on organizational design, talent management and development, inclusion and equitable access to opportunity, leadership accountability and enablement, and overall how best to scale Cedar’s talent in a way that drives business impact and moves us closer to our Vision • Partner with the business to develop and implement modern People strategies that improve productivity and effectiveness, inspire and support innovation, and inspire and enable the Cedar team. Consistently embody Cedar’s Use Good Judgment value and empower the People Partners and Cedar leadership with expert advice and standard methodologies, data insights, and a deep understanding of Cedar and its culture. • Achieve a high satisfaction rate with the service of the People Partner team resulting in enhanced employee engagement and satisfaction and specifically, drivers related to maintaining a positive work environment • Be a visible and tireless model and advocate for Cedar’s values and culture, initiating cultural transformation that propels Cedar’s team forward and ensures Cedar is a dynamic and attractive employer for top talent • Manage complex employee relations and at times, personally conduct investigations into violations of Cedar’s policies or values. Oversee other employee relations efforts, partnering with internal and external counsel as needed • Along with the People Experience and Total Rewards leaders and teams, ensure Cedar can evolve into a resilient and sustaining hybrid work environment that attracts and retains mission-aligned people Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of employee relations or business partner leadership and management experience in a high-growth environment • 5+ years of experience as an HRBP, preferably in the technology space • A stellar communicator and collaborator, able to work up, down, and across the org and effectively problem solve and influence at all levels • An empathetic and flexible leader with a track record of human-centric and ethical decision making • Analytical and data-driven but willing and able to function in ambiguity and think creatively about problem solving and achieving goals What do we offer to the ideal candidate? • An opportunity to work on a platform that is scaling very rapidly, engaging with 12M patients a year growing at 180% YoY as of Aug 2021! • A chance to join a high-growth company at an early stage • The ability to impact the growth of our company, we value all comments and suggestions • Transparency across teams and interaction with multiple departments • Competitive pay, employer-paid healthcare, stock options Apply tot his job
