Position: VP of Yardi Business Applications
Location: Tampa Support Center
Key Qualifications: The VP of Yardi Business Applications will lead the implementation and development of Yardi business applications for RPS and the company's support services. This includes managing and overseeing the selection, implementation, and maintenance of software systems that support the company's operations and growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead the enterprise-wide strategic direction of RPS's Yardi business systems and technology. This includes analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying technologies and defining and implementing infrastructure solutions that directly address business requirements.
Lead the deployment, operation, and support of selected technologies throughout the business.
Manage the technical strategy, planning, design, and delivery across business functions of business applications, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal.
Lead and coordinate the Business Systems 'Steering Committee' with senior business stakeholders.
Develop and manage effective working relationships with other business and technology departments to ensure appropriate levels of inter-departmental collaboration.
Recommend, develop, and implement technologies and processes to enhance operational excellence.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise across a wide range of IT business application solutions, including Yardi Voyager (Affordable and Residential), Rent Café, Site Manager, CRM Flex, CRM IQ, Elevate, P2P, MIQ, Job Cost, Debt Manager, Construction Manager, Fixed Asset, Zen Desk, and SQL.
Continue the RPS evolution in leveraging leading business applications development practices and principles.
Identify trends and root causes of problems and implement the necessary remediation and process improvement plans.
Establish key performance indicators and service level agreements for continually improving the team's performance.
Develop and foster a culture of customer service, quality, and continuous process improvements.
Ensure that the solutions are cost-effective and suitable for our business's growth and changing needs.
Manage external vendor partnerships to support key technologies and service delivery.
Possess a deep understanding of the interdependent relationship between applications and infrastructure and the criticality of a strong connection between the respective support teams to ensure continuity and quality of service.
Participate in and/or facilitate meetings, workshops, and seminars, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred. PMP designation preferred.
Experience:Must have at least three years in a similar role managing a Yardi support team. Knowledge of Voyager Affordable is essential.
Skills & Certifications:
Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate and uphold all RPS policies and procedures
Ability to use a personal computer and all general office equipment
Experience with Microsoft Office software, Email, and Yardi software
Proven ability to maintain flexibility, composure, and creativity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Exhibit solid time management skills and exercise solid judgment to analyze and resolve issues
Proven ability to self-motivate and work with minimal to moderate supervision
