At JustWatch Media, we focus on programmatic and data-driven digital marketing for the global entertainment industry.

To be absolutely clear: this position is not about selling ad space on JustWatch.com or our apps. JustWatch Media leverages over 100 million audience profiles from our streaming guide users to power large-scale advertising campaigns across YouTube, Meta, and TikTok.

Over the past ten years, we have delivered more than 20,000 campaigns across YouTube, Meta and TikTok for 100+ clients, including nearly all major studios and streamers. These campaigns have covered more than 100 markets worldwide with budgets in the hundreds of millions.

Our team has grown to over 200 people from 46 nationalities, working from Berlin, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Munich and Dubai. We are truly international and cover all important entertainment markets and languages.

Who we need

We are looking for an entrepreneurial VP of Salesin Los Angeles, CA, to establish and drive JustWatch Media’s sales activities in the U.S. market, positioning us with studios, streaming services and media agencies across the country. This position is based in Los Angeles to enable frequent client meetings, with the flexibility to work partly from home. You will report directly to our President, North America.

We need a hands-on closer with a proven track record in entertainment media sales, a strong network in Hollywood and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about movies and TV shows, driven by results and has the entrepreneurial mindset to lead and grow our U.S. sales operations.

Who don't we need

For this role, we are not seeking candidates with backgrounds primarily in business development, partnerships or marketing, nor those with sales experience from fields such as content or licensing. We are also not looking for candidates who focus mainly on strategy, sales processes or structure and prefer a hands-off approach.

What will you be doing
• Use your network to establish JustWatch Mediaas the go-to media buying partner for YouTube, Meta and TikTok campaigns for studios, streamers and media agencies
• Drive revenue by personally closing deals and consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets
• Position and adapt JustWatch Media to the specific needs of the U.S. market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers in Hollywood and across the entertainment industry

What we need from you
• At least 10 years of media sales experience in the entertainment industry in Hollywood (not marketing or business development)
• A strong network within media and marketing teams, as well as senior leadership from studios, streamers and media agencies
• A hands-on mentality with a clear bias to action and a proven ability to close deals
• Deep understanding of programmatic, data-driven campaigns and how to position them with clients
• Entrepreneurial drive, ambition and ownership to establish and expand our sales activities in the U.S.
