The Vice President, HR Operations is responsible for modernizing, transforming, and scaling Envision’s Human Resource operating model. This role oversees HR operations, technology, payroll, and workforce analytics. This role ensures HR operations, technology, payroll, analytics, and workforce data enable the organization’s business strategy while delivering a reliable, high‑trust experience for clinicians, teammates and leaders. Responsibilities Lead the enterprise HR operations and shared services strategy, ensuring that HR services are efficient, compliant, digitally enabled, and centered on clinician, teammate and leader experience. Develop and execute a multi‑year HR technology roadmap in partnership with IT, HR leadership, and Operations and Clinical stakeholders. Partner with IT and other stakeholders on data transformation initiatives to ensure HR data is accurate and aligned with accepted best practices. Closely partner with IT to outline the architecture strategy for HR systems and ensure alignment with Envision’s overall data and architecture strategy. Lead HR system implementations, integrations, and upgrades, including change management, training, user adoption, and stabilization activities. Lead the design and execution of a modern and centralized HR operations and shared services model. Partner closely with HR leadership, Operations, Clinical and other stakeholders to establish service standards, performance metrics, and governance to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR services. Establish methods to continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience. Lead workforce analytics and reporting capabilities, delivering actionable insights to HR leaders and business partners. Provide executive oversight of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement. Ensure HR operations, payroll, and data practices comply with applicable employment, wage and hour, tax, benefits, and data privacy regulations. Establish and enforce enterprise HR data governance standards related to data quality, security, access, ownership, and reporting integrity. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners to identify operational gaps, workforce risks, and improvement opportunities. Oversee vendor strategy and performance, including selection, contract management, and service optimization. Build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams across HR operations, HRIS, payroll, shared services, and data analytics. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale HR operations and systems transformation in complex organizations. Strong business acumen, executive communication skills, and ability to influence at senior levels. High integrity and proven ability to manage sensitive and regulated information. Strong commitment to building a high quality, customer-focused team. Highly tech proficient in integrated cloud-based HR systems, employee engagement tools and communication systems a plus. Exceptional analytical, communication, strategic thinking, critical thinking, and influencing skills. Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar is required; Master’s degree is preferred. 15+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, HR technology, shared services, and/or payroll leadership with 5+ years of experience in a leadership role is required Experience in healthcare or multi-entity companies is preferred.
