About the Role: Vocational Nursing On Ground Instructor - Adjunct We are seeking an experienced and passionate Vocational Nursing On Ground Instructor - Adjunct to join our team in Riverside, CA. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students, helping them achieve program and course objectives. If you have a strong background in vocational nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Provide engaging and informative instruction to students, maintaining an organized and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning. Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to ensure students meet program and course objectives. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to ask questions, explore concepts, and develop critical thinking skills. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance. Collaborate with colleagues and program directors to ensure curriculum alignment and program effectiveness. Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, incorporating this knowledge into instruction and program development. Essential Qualifications: Education and Credentials: Associate's degree or higher in a related area of study (ACCSC). Current CA license as RN or VN. Completion of a course offered by an approved program to certify competency in teaching adult learners. Experience: 5 years of healthcare-related professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years of experience as a RN or VN within the last 5 years. At least one or more of the following: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school. Valid Teaching Credential. Completion of 1 year full-time teaching experience in a state-accredited or approved RN, VN program within the last 5 years. Meets CA community college or state university teaching requirements. Skills and Competencies: Understanding of education environments, including the needs of adult learners. Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment. Knowledge and understanding of professional career paths for which students are enrolled. Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching. Good organization and communication skills.
