About the Role We're seeking experienced and passionate educators to join our team as Virtual Students with Disabilities Tutors. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll have the flexibility to choose from a range of assignments that match your certification, expertise, and schedule preferences. Our tutors work with students in small groups, one-to-one, or full-group settings, and you'll have the autonomy to create engaging lesson plans and adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of your students. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality virtual academic instruction to students with disabilities, aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives. Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote student learning and motivation. Foster a supportive and inclusive virtual learning environment that encourages student participation and relationship-building. Track student progress, grades, and performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Utilize our educator portal to select assignments, access resources, and manage your schedule. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: An active, USA state-issued teaching certification relevant to the job opportunity (Students with Disabilities or similar). A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Authorization to work in the United States. A reliable laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and internet connection. A willingness to complete a mini-lesson and background check as part of the application process.
