Position Overview:
As a 1099 contractor, you will work with diverse learners, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring that each student receives the personalized support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
Provide insight, direct instruction and support to students through virtual platforms.
Create engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual learning goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
Valid Maryland teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
