Virtual Special Education Teacher - Minnesota High School

Overview: We are seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher to provide remote instruction and support for high school students in a self-contained classroom across Minnesota. In this role, you will manage a full caseload of students, deliver individualized instruction aligned with their IEPs, and serve as the primary case manager, coordinating services and progress reporting. You will work closely with families, related service providers, and school staff to ensure students receive the supports they need to succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. Caseload: • High school students in a self-contained classroom • Full case management responsibilities for assigned students • Collaboration with related service providers and classroom teachers to support student goals Responsibilities: • Provide individualized instruction to students in a virtual, self-contained high school setting • Manage and monitor student caseload, including IEP implementation and progress tracking • Coordinate and lead IEP meetings and maintain required documentation • Collaborate with families, teachers, and related service providers to support academic, social, and behavioral growth • Adapt curriculum and materials to meet students individual learning needs • Monitor progress and adjust instruction based on student performance Requirements: • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field • Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) • Experience teaching high school students in a self-contained setting preferred • Strong case management skills, including IEP development and progress monitoring • Comfortable delivering instruction and managing caseload virtually • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Why Join Us? • Fully remote position with a consistent school-year schedule • Opportunity to work with a focused high school caseload and make a measurable impact • Supportive virtual team environment • Meaningful work helping students achieve their academic and personal goals For immediate consideration: Send your resume and any supplemental documentsto [email protected] Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $44.00.
