VIRTUAL SERVICING ADVISOR IN CALIFORNIA
Independent Financial Planner in California is currently seeking an experienced financial services professional to work full-time on a four-person team. Does supporting a financial advisor in the servicing of financial plans and money management feel like the most rewarding use of your top-notch skills?
The right person should be detail- and service-oriented. We are actively looking for a new team member who appreciates direct communication, is a self-starter, and is productive in a virtual work environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the transformative power of the financial planning process and will measure success by the number of financially independent clients the team serves. This is not a producing advisor or commissionable position.
Responsibilities and tasks:
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT:
Trade to portfolio models
Manage trade restrictions and equivalents for core holdings
Provide equity and economic research in support of model creation
Manage recurring and ad hoc money moves
PARAPLANNING:
Assist in fact finding and facts input into financial planning platform (eMoney)
Develop tailor-made tactics and strategies supporting client financial independence
Onboard new clients into eMoney
Continue education to understand new tax and legal changes
Minimum requirements:
· Bachelors degree
· Must have a Series 7 license
· Minimum of 5 years of experience within financial services or on a financial planning team
· Advanced competency in financial and tax planning concepts
· Ability to juggle multiple tasks even when interrupted
Preferences:
· CFP® designation
· Software/Systems Skills: Apple OS, Redtail, eMoney Advisor
· Virtual work experience
This is a long-term, full-time position. The working hours are
between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, which includes (1) hour of break time. Total working hours per week can be (32) (40) total hours per week. Hourly pay is based on experience. There are medical benefits, 401(k) matching, and an opportunity for performance-based increases. Successful completion of a background check and 90-day probationary period is required.
