Virtual School Counselor | Texas
Provide telehealth counseling services to students within a school environment, delivering support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions remotely. The role focuses on addressing students' mental health, emotional well-being, and academic challenges through virtual platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting individual and group counseling sessions via telehealth technology
ā¢ Assessing student needs and developing appropriate intervention plans
ā¢ Collaborating with educators and school staff to support student success
ā¢ Maintaining accurate documentation and confidentiality in compliance with regulations
ā¢ Monitoring student progress and modifying plans as necessary
Qualifications and desired experience:
ā¢ Licensed professional counselor or equivalent certification
ā¢ Experience providing telehealth counseling services, preferably in educational settings
ā¢ Strong understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues
ā¢ Ability to effectively engage students in a virtual environment
