The Opportunity

CommonLit is seeking experienced educators to serve as Virtual Professional Development Facilitators (Part-Time, Contractor). This role focuses exclusively on leading and supporting virtual PD for schools implementing CommonLit’s instructional programs and does not require travel.

This role is ideal for former teacher leaders, instructional coaches, or school leaders who are passionate about adult learning, curriculum implementation, and improving literacy outcomes at scale.

You understand that making change in a school is a complex process.

-You enjoy solving problems and supporting educators. You will lead PD for many schools who will be implementing the CommonLit 360 curriculum for the first time. While leading sessions or talking to customers, you’ll need to work with them to strategically solve problems by drawing upon your own knowledge of best practices and collaborative problem solving.

-You are eager to build new skills and are receptive to feedback. You love to learn new things and challenge yourself.

-You are highly familiar with CommonLit and are excited to learn more about our products and program. It is required that candidates for this position are familiar with CommonLit’s products and have used them in some capacity with success.
