Virtual Mental Health Therapist (Texas License Required)

The Opportunity
Lyla Health is hiring licensed mental health professionals in Texas to provide remote therapy services to a wide range of patients. This fully remote role allows you to practice from anywhere in the state, set your own schedule, and focus solely on delivering high-quality care without administrative burdens. You’ll be supported by a team of healthcare innovators and fellow clinicians working together to improve outcomes and access.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver individual therapy sessions via secure video
• Assess patient needs and develop custom treatment plans
• Document clinical notes in a timely and compliant manner
• Coordinate with Lyla Health’s medical and behavioral care teams when needed
• Maintain an active caseload based on your desired hours and availability
• Optional: Participate in peer consultations or clinical team meetings
What We’re Looking For
• Current, active license in Texas as one of the following:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-S)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of three year of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting (telehealth experience a bonus)
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using EHR systems and video conferencing tools
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must carry or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance
