Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced ESL Teacher to join our team in a fully virtual setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a Second Language and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging online classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons for K-12 students.
Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
Create a supportive and positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance student learning experiences.
Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and strategies for improvement.
Stay current with ESL best practices and educational technologies.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in West Virginia with an ESL endorsement.
Experience teaching ESL to K-12 students, preferably in a virtual setting.
Strong understanding of language acquisition and differentiation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for teaching.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).
Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment tools for ESL.
Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment.
