Vice President of Operations, RCM (Remote)

Position: RCM Operations Vice President

FLSA Status: Full time, Exempt

Reports to: President Physician Service Group

Summary/Objective:
The RCM Operations Vice President will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee revenue cycle strategies in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.

Essential Functions:

• Integrate people and process of legacy companies.
• Establishes, implements, and communicates the revenue cycle strategy.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
• Provide accurate and timely billing information and reports to facilitate decision-making. processes. Keep leadership informed about the organization's billing/claims collection performance.
• Drive revenue cycle process improvement and cost saving initiatives.
• Analyze data and KPI's to ensure AR follow up and collections are operating at optimum efficiency and look for process enhancement opportunities.
• Ensure the revenue cycle department is meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
• Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the President and other leadership.
• Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided to staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Travel

This position can require up to 20% travel.

Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other industry-related field required; MBA preferred.
• At least 10 years of industry-related experience; including three years in upper management required.
