Vice President Finance - SAAS Based Company

Role - VP Finance
Reporting directly to the COO and serving on the senior leadership team, the VP of Finance partners closely with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, investors, and lenders. You will oversee all aspects of FP&A, accounting, controllership, forecasting, reporting, systems, cash management, compliance, and financial operations.
This is a high-impact, highâvisibility leadership role ideal for a finance executive who thrives in scaling environments and is energized by building a bestâinâclass function.
Responsibilities
⢠Lead the companyâs global financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and full P&L ownership.
⢠Deliver accurate, compelling financial insights and presentations for executives, the Board, investors, and lenders.
⢠Oversee cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and performance modeling to guide strategic and operational decisions.
⢠Define, monitor, and drive key SaaS metrics and operational KPIs that promote visibility and accountability across the business.
⢠Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Data teams to support pricing, investments, and strategic initiatives.
⢠Lead all accounting and controllership activities, including daily operations, GAAP compliance, audits, tax oversight, and monthly/quarterly/annual close.
⢠Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting team focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
⢠Optimize NetSuite and related financial systems, leveraging automation and AI to streamline processes and accelerate the financial close.
⢠Strengthen internal controls and implement scalable, PEâaligned processes that meet publicâcompanyâquality standards.
⢠Support M&A diligence, integration activities, and enterprise-wide scaling efforts.
Required Qualifications
⢠Experience in the SAAS industry or in technology-driven environments is highly advantageous
⢠Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred
⢠15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience across FP&A and accounting
⢠Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
⢠Experience in privateâequityâbacked companies required
⢠SaaS or technology industry experience required
⢠Strong NetSuite expertise
⢠Advanced financial modeling capabilities
⢠High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
⢠Exceptional leadership, communication, and crossâfunctional collaboration skills
⢠Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
⢠Proficiency in Financial Planning and expertise in creating and managing financial strategies
⢠Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and drive decision-making processes
⢠Experience with preparing, analyzing, and managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
⢠Comprehensive knowledge of Finance principles and practices
⢠Strong leadership and team management abilities
⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
⢠Base Salary Range is $250,000 to $300,000. No Bonus + Equity
