We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Delivery - Telecom to lead our software delivery team.
This role requires a visionary leader with exceptional strategic thinking and the ability to inspire and manage a large, diverse group of highly skilled professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software development and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
You will oversee a business scale of $100 million to $200 million in annual revenue and manage a team of 1,000 to 1,500 people.
The technical environment is highly complex and large-scale, requiring advanced technical expertise and strategic oversight.
The teams are distributed across onshore, remote, nearshore, and offshore locations.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A Masters degree is preferred.
20+ years of experience in software development and project management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Deep Technical Knowledge of Telecom: Extensive experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry, including understanding of telecom networks, protocols, and technologies.
