Annuity Product Compliance Specialist

The Annuity Product Compliance Specialist will ensure compliance standards for annuity products are met and assist with state filing processes across jurisdictions. Responsibilities Participating in Annuity product and filing requirement discussions with Internal Stakeholders Maintaining accurate records of approval information so that approved products and forms are correctly issued and contract language is as mandated for all states Evaluating and answering questions in relation to the interpretation of contract provisions as requested by internal and external customers Advising and negotiating with internal and external Stakeholders to resolve issues relevant to securing approval and/or use of forms and/or rates, or to revise products or procedures for compliance with new laws Performing analysis and communicating recommended changes as a result of new and/or revised State and Federal laws and regulations Reviewing, testing, and/or implementing policy print on related print systems for compliance May be drafting and/or filing or overseeing the drafting and/or filing of all applicable forms and/or applications by identifying and complying with complex regulatory requirements Researching, compiling and reviewing complex state laws and regulations using appropriate databases, the internet and other resources Skills 1 to 3+ Years experience in compliance or annuity products directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this role Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to influence management/critical stakeholders Analytical skills and close attention to detail is critical Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment Benefits Clearly defined career tracks and job levels, along with associated behaviors for each of Lincoln's core values and leadership attributes Leadership development and virtual training opportunities PTO/parental leave Competitive 401K and employee benefits Free financial counseling, health coaching and employee assistance program Tuition assistance program Work arrangements that work for you Effective productivity/technology tools and training Company Overview Lincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) helps people to confidently plan for their version of a successful future.
