One of the key objectives of this role is to find and evaluate potential new go to market partnerships. This means that you must understand where the business falls within the market and gauge the impact of this new partnership. You will be expected to have high level client contacts and C-level relationships to engage in sales to build a robust Security as a Service sales pipeline and land opportunities.
The Vice President of Business Development drives the Security as a Service Line of Business of Teleperformance to successfully turn new local, regional, and global business prospects into clients. With an overall sales strategy of value-adding solutions designs, this position ensures that the company achieves or exceeds our margin and revenue goals, aligned with our organization’s vision, mission, core values, norms, and policies.
The Responsibilities & Duties
• Design a comprehensive sales strategy of solutions designed to drive new revenue opportunities for our Security as a Service business products that addresses market needs and new growth opportunities.
• Provide input and feedback on market ready Security as a Service products to the product management team to ensure current offerings and features meets the needs of our addressable market.
• Map out a business plan with goals, key actions, targets, and measures of success, including its complementing resources and tools needed by the unit/department to meet and exceed the organizational objectives.
• Direct the smooth implementation of well-defined end-to-end business development plans based on our Security as a Service lines of business and requirements approved and supported by leadership and our clients.
• Drive sales strategies aligned to the “Employer of Choice” key business differentiators as a People Company, which are also our competitive industry advantages in the local, national, and regional markets.
• Use of own network and C-level relationships in aiding in opening new markets/opportunities.
• Coordinates with the Bid/Proposal team to generate presentations and proposals for client delivery.
• Manages negotiation process of contracts with current and prospective clients.
• Establishes and maintains collaborative partnerships with our new clients to ensure we deliver committed results.
• Uphold and promote our Teleperformance core values, norms, standard operating policies, and procedures.
• Arrange, attend, and oversee tours and visits to various Teleperformance sites and locations virtually and physically on behalf of potential new clients.
• You will maintain ethical practices that nurture a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates high-potential employees at all levels.
• You will help support the US sales teams to identify and develop TP’s unique selling propositions Using knowledge of the market and our competitors.
• Utilize and manage the TP CRM system – Salesforce.
• This will be an Individual Contributor role.
The First-Year Objectives
• Design a business development strategy to engage identified target list based on assigned accounts.
• Establish channel sales relationships with technology OEMs to complement our Security as a Service lines of business.
• Build confidence and trust with new and current accounts through close partnerships and outstanding delivery.
• Engage with customers in a consultative way by understanding their value proposition and designing solutions that enable improved business outcomes.
• Optimize internal relationships with Sales Support and Client Services.
The Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or above preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Location is US remote.
• 8-plus years of demonstrated success selling Information security solutions to enterprise clients.
• A strong hunting background with the ability to open doors.
• Good understanding of CX-related digital technologies, digital transformation a plus.
• Strong negotiation and business management skills.
• Analytical thinking, proactive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have extensive experience selling and presenting to the highest-level decision-makers (C-level Executives).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset.
• Must be highly detail-oriented, productive and accountable, and work under tight deadlines when needed.
• Flexibility to travel when the deal or relationship requires. The frequency varies by opportunity.
