Vibe Coder / AI-Assisted Backend Developer for Startup (Trial Project) - Contract to Hire

The Challenge
We've successfully created impressive frontend interfaces using V0.dev, but we're struggling with backend integration. We need someone who understands how to:
ā¢ Connect V0.dev-generated frontends with functional backends
ā¢ Implement authentication, database, and API functionality
ā¢ Set up proper deployment pipelines
ā¢ Ensure security and scalability
What You'll Do
This is a trial project (10-20 hours) to assess fit for potential ongoing collaboration. You'll:
1. Review our existing V0.dev frontend code
2. Recommend and implement a backend solution (we're considering Lovable.ai, Firebase, Supabase, or similar BaaS options)
3. Connect frontend components to backend functionality
4. Set up authentication and basic database operations
5. Deploy a working prototype
6. Document the process and create reusable patterns
Requirements
Must Have:
ā¢ Experience with backend integration for modern React/Next.js applications
ā¢ Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (V0.dev, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
ā¢ Knowledge of Backend-as-a-Service platforms (Firebase, Supabase, etc.)
ā¢ Strong API development skills
ā¢ Experience with authentication implementation
ā¢ Ability to document processes clearly
Nice to Have:
ā¢ Experience with Lovable.ai
ā¢ Knowledge of serverless architectures
ā¢ Experience with AI prompt engineering
ā¢ Background in rapid prototyping or MVP development
ā¢ Experience working with startups
Project Scope & Timeline
ā¢ Trial project: 10-20 hours
ā¢ Timeline: 1-2 weeks
ā¢ Budget: $500-1,000 for the trial (rate negotiable based on experience)
ā¢ Potential for ongoing work (10-20 hours/week) if trial is successful
