Role Description Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to source video content creators with experience applying VFX (visual effects) to short-form videos . This is a unique opportunity for creators to apply their expertise in a highly innovative, research-driven context - your work will be instrumental to the advancement of frontier AI models. Key Responsibilities Identify the most visually appealing and impactful application of various VFX in different contexts Use video editing software _(not AI tools)_ to tastefully add VFX to short-form videos Follow specific instructions regarding video content and/or VFX application Produce high quality output within set time constraints Qualifications You have experience filming short-form videos for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram or Youtube You have good aesthetic taste when it comes to how to apply VFX You have experience applying VFX (visual effects) to short-form videos for social media platforms You have experience producing high quality work under tight deadlines Requirements Remote and asynchronous - control your own schedule Expected commitment: project-based, ~20 hours/week Compensation & Contract Terms You will be paid per task - $40 to $60 is the equivalent hourly rate You’ll be classified as an independent contractor Company Description Mercor is a talent marketplace that connects top experts with leading AI labs and research organizations Thousands of professionals across domains including creativity, law, engineering, and research have joined Mercor to work on projects that help shape the frontier of AI
