Veterinary Assistant (Remote) – The Elite Job

Key Responsibilities • * Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and patient care by providing physical and emotional support to animals. • * Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering calls, and updating patient records. • * Provide client education on animal health, preventive care, and medication administration. • * Ensure that all medical equipment and tools are sanitized and maintained according to health standards. • * Monitor animal conditions and report any changes or concerns to the veterinarian. • * Process billing and insurance claims for veterinary services. • * Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for all animals in the care of the practice. • * Assist with patient intake, including the collection of medical histories and vital signs. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * High school diploma or equivalent.
