Skills
• Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D)
• Master’s or Doctorate degree from a university accredited by ACAE, CAA, or ASHA Certification
• Manual dexterity to calibrate equipment
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
• Strong professional communication skills and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Responsibilities
• Administer and interpret a range of audiological tests
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain the audiological suite
• Review order requests and medical history, providing well-supported medical opinions
• Perform occasional removal of soft cerumen
• Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions (MOs)
• Explain the exam process to the veteran with empathy and respect
• Complete charts and exams within 24-48 hours of the appointment
• Follow established protocols for emergencies

Qualifications
• A Doctor of Audiology degree (Au.D)
• Strong professional communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and provide high-quality service

• Doctorate degree in Audiology

Experience Requirements
• Prior experience in clinical settings is desired
• Prior VA or C&P experience is a plus
