Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Sourcing Manager responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing venues for events across the United States. This role focuses on sourcing diverse venues nationwide to support our event goals. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, ability to obtain venues on 20/80 split, extensive knowledge of regional... markets, and experience in coordinating logistics across different states and cities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Venue Sourcing & Selection
• Research and identify venue options nationwide based on event specifications, attendee demographics, and client preferences.
• Perform in-depth assessments of venues for suitability, including size, accessibility, location, and technical capabilities.
• Develop a database of vetted venues and build strong relationships with venue operators and local vendors across regions.
• Negotiation & Contracting
• Negotiate favorable rates, terms, and conditions for venues, ensuring cost-effectiveness, alignment with event budgets, and able to obtain venues without a budget or on a 20/80 split.
• Manage venue contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and service quality standards.
• Market Analysis & Vendor Relationships
• Conduct research on emerging trends and competitors in the U.S. venue market to stay informed on the best venue options and negotiation tactics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including venue owners, tourism boards, and event service providers across target regions.
• Logistics & Compliance Management
• Collaborate with internal teams (event planning, operations, legal) to ensure that venues meet safety, accessibility, and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, including health and safety protocols, licensing, and cultural requirements.
• Budget Management & Reporting
• Manage budget allocation for venue sourcing, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare reports on sourcing activities, including cost analyses, venue recommendations, and risk assessments for each location.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with event management teams to align venue options with event goals and logistical needs.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure venue selections support brand image and strategic positioning.

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years in venue sourcing, event planning, or hospitality, with a focus on U.S. regions.
• Proven experience in negotiating venue contracts and managing logistics across various states.
• Skills:
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. venue markets, regional cultures, and logistical requirements.
• Proficient in project management tools and budgeting software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across diverse regions.
• Travel: Ability to travel across the United States as required for venue inspections and relationship management.
• Other: Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards in the United States is highly advantageous.

This position is commission based.

Pay: $54,727.00 - $59,665.00 per year
