Vendor Management Assistant (Part-time) - Remote | WFH
Join our team as a Vendor Management Assistant! We're seeking a dedicated individual to support our IT Sourcing Team in various administrative tasks. This part-time remote role involves handling IT equipment leasing activities, including lease approvals, data entry, and payment tracking with suppliers. You'll also assist with contract management tasks and provide support with contractual queries... and negotiations across IT sourcing categories.
Additionally, you'll play a key role in deploying new sourcing software and tools, contributing to the enhancement of our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess experience in supplier communications, SAP, and sourcing contract methodologies.
Details
Hourly Rate: $22-27/hr (DOE)
Part-time: 20 hours/week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-12pm CST
Contract: 1 year W2 Contract to start
Responsibilities
Assist with contract negotiation, filing, data entry, and reporting
Facilitate cross-functional communication
Track and manage IT leasing activities, including lease tracking and entry into relevant systems
Provide category manager support for leasing and contract remediation
Organize and maintain sourcing contract documents
Support the migration of contracts to the enterprise repository
Collect and manage supplier contact information
Monitor project progress and provide updates to project leadership
Qualifications
Proficiency in Excel
High school diploma or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Experience with SAP is advantageous
2 years of customer/vendor support experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
