Job description: The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank for renewable terms to add to our growing section of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities will include the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures with strong oncologic, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, vascular including CTA imaging, dialysis, non-vascular, portal venous, women’s, and pediatric interventional radiology services. Other duties will include training and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Remote academic days are included weekly. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. In addition to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, our faculty conduct cutting-edge translational and clinical research. A tradition of excellence in patient care, basic, clinical, and translational sciences, combined with the strengths of one of the world's top academic institutions provides the foundation for a career as an academic radiologist.
