- 5+ years of design experience - 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience - Have an available online portfolio - Strong prototyping and interaction design skillset - Expert design acumen demonstrated through owning product design end-to-end - Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, product management, and engineering (working directly with developers for implementation of designs) - Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
We are looking for a UX Designer to drive the next evolution of our advertising business. In this role you will design, test, and deploy innovative experiences that help Amazon shoppers discover new products, find inspiration, and connect with brandsÂglobally and at scale. As part of the Amazon Advertising User Experience team, youÂll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with user research, engineering, product management to bring it to life. You will think first from the customers perspectiveÂboth shoppers and advertisersÂand set high standards for yourself and the team. You will utilize a full range of skills including, wire framing, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design to bring new experiences to fruition. Most importantly, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience of shoppers, advertisers, and brand-owners alike. Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. Key job responsibilities - Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities. - Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives. - Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI. - Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specificationsÂworking closely with developers to see your design through to deployment. - Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization. - Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
