Utility Analyst

CivilGrid is a venture-backed SaaS construction tech company building the 'Google Maps for the Underground.' They are seeking a Utility Research Coordinator to join their collaborative data team, responsible for utility research and data outreach to support infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Research utility operations, public works assets, and asset management plans Communicate directly with public works offices and utility asset owners by email and phone Interpret maps, as-built drawings, and engineering plans at a basic level Track communications in internal applications Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about progress of requests and digitization Skills Bachelor's Degree Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to spend significant time communicating with external entities/organizations Detail-oriented and self-motivated, ability to operate independently working remotely Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Experience with reading utility maps, as-built drawings, and engineering plans at a basic level Experience working with utilities and/or government agencies Experience researching and working with open source data Benefits Company-sponsored health insurance Unlimited PTO FSA Remote work flexibility with a dynamic team environment Comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities.
