User Experience Copywriter

Working Hours: Part-time / Project-based Location: Remote ► Project Overview: → We are seeking a talented UX copywriter to refine and elevate the voice, clarity, and usability of a growing software product. → You will craft concise, helpful, and user-centric copy across web and in-app experiences. → Your work will guide users through features, improve engagement, and support conversion and retention efforts. ► Responsibilities ✏️: → Write clear, concise, and intuitive copy for product interfaces (e.g., buttons, tooltips, modals, error messages, etc.). → Develop onboarding flows, help content, empty states, and other microcopy that improves user experience. → Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure cohesive messaging. → Maintain consistency in tone, style, and voice across different platforms. → Conduct competitor research and UX writing audits to inform improvements. → Implement feedback quickly and iterate copy based on data, testing, and team input. ► Mandatory Skills : → Proven experience in UX writing or product copywriting for web or SaaS platforms. → Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and how copy impacts usability. → Excellent English writing and editing skills. → Experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Notion, Jira). → Ability to simplify complex ideas into accessible, user-friendly language. ► Preferred Experience : → Previous experience with productivity or transcription tools. → Understanding of accessibility best practices in UX writing. → Familiarity with A/B testing and writing for different user segments. ► Soft Skills ✨: → Collaborative and open to feedback. → Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying copy issues. → Able to manage deadlines and work autonomously in a remote setting. → Passionate about clarity, language, and the user experience. ► Project Outcome Expected ✅: → Streamlined, consistent, and user-friendly copy throughout the product and key web pages. → Improved user onboarding, engagement, and satisfaction through well-crafted UX content. → Established UX copy guidelines to support future growth and consistency.
